Joaquim was passionate about his family, specifically his four grandchildren. He enjoyed his involvement in the local Portuguese community and his favorite things to do were to sing and to make everyone laugh.
Joaquim is survived by his beloved wife, Maria (Antonia) Braga; his cherished children, Sofia Braga of Milford, Sergio Braga and wife, Laetitia Braga of Grafton; his adored grandchildren, Ethan, Isabella, Iriana and Ivana.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 from 9:00am to 10:30am at Gillooly Funeral Home, Norwood. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00am at St. Mary Catholic Church, East Walpole.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joaquim’s honor to Oliva Fund Cancer Care.
