Russell G. Hogan

Russ had many hobbies, including dancing, which is how met his wife Pauline at Mosley’s in Dedham many years ago. He also enjoyed spending time in the yard mowing his lawn, planting flowers and trimming bushes. He was an avid golfer and bowler, a member of two bowling leagues in Norwood and played in the retired men’s golf league. Russ also enjoyed skating and could proudly out skate nearly anyone.

Beloved husband of Pauline M. (McAleer) Hogan; loving father of Barbara J. Marchand and her husband Gary of N. Attleboro, Daniel R. Hogan and his wife Diane of Plymouth, and Thomas R. Hogan and his wife Pauline of Woonsocket, RI; devoted brother of Carole M. Grant and her husband Paul of Carver. He is also survived by six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 28th at 9:00am from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rte. 1A), Norwood, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 547 Washington Street, Norwood. Interment will follow the Mass in Highland Cemetery, Norwood. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday from 4:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
