Andrea Cecilia Peters

Andrea Cecilia Peters, 40, of Salisbury, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Robert Louis Peters and Carol Lee Rummel Peters of Salisbury.

She is also survived by her grandparents, Charles Louis Rummel and Nancy Lee Rummel of Ocean City; a sister, Karen Michele Gabel & her husband, Mark of Edgewood and their two sons, Matthew and Derek; aunts and uncles, Cookie and Ron Smith, Connie Pierce, Lana and Don Kiebler, Susan and Tommy Martin, Kim and Steve Benner, Kathy Powell-Frater, Jim and Pat Cullison, Brenda Hyder, Janice and Ted Hamilton, Loretta Julian, and many cousins, relatives and friends from MD, DE, TN, NC and VA.

Andrea earned associate degrees in Early Childhood Education and Secretarial Services. She enjoyed spending time travelling to Tennessee, Orlando and Myrtle Beach, attending family gatherings and hanging out with her best friend Stephanie. Andrea loved going to Elizabethton, Tennessee in the summer to help out with their annual Vacation Bible School and visiting with all of her aunts, uncles and cousins. She was an active member of the Salisbury Maryland Kennel Club since November 1, 1997 where she enjoyed the company of many friends, training her dogs, Joey and Oliver, and attending, participating in and volunteering at dog shows.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 7pm at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury with a visitation beginning at 5pm. Officiating will be by Pastor Danny Jackson.

Baltimore services will be held at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair Road in Nottingham, MD on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 12:30pm with a visitation beginning at 11am. Interment will follow on Saturday at the Parkwood Cemetery in Parkville, MD.
