Anthony S. Ruskowski

On May 11, 2015, the battle with cancer sadly came to an end for Anthony S. “Tony” Ruskowski. He was the beloved husband of Sandy Ruskowski (nee Molnar); devoted father of Kelly Sellers and her husband Matt, Kerry Ruskowski and Chas O’Donnell, and Kenna Krumholtz and her husband Derrick; loving grandfather of Lacey, Jake, Madison, Jacob, Olivia, Brady, Alex, and Drew; dear brother of Patricia Ruskowski, and Laura Poling and her husband Doug; loving brother-in-law of Carolyn Montgomery and her husband Tom; beloved uncle of Lindsay, Jenna, Bethany, Gregg, Scott, Jill, and Kate. He was a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War with a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Vietnam Service Medal. He was a member of the American Legion Post 38 in Martins Ferry, OH for over 30 years where he served several years as Post Commander.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236, on Friday from 6-9 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 1PM at St. Stephen Catholic Church (Bradshaw, MD). Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
