Barbara Ann Heagy

On July 25, 2024, Barbara Ann Rose Bogdan Heagy, traveled along the path to heaven to be with her husband, Raymond Heagy. She was born on February 15, 1944 to William and Frances Bogdan. Barbara was the mother/mother-in-law of Diana and Thomas Cero, Grandmother/GeeGee of Thomas and Tanner Cero, sister/sister-in-law of Mary Zittle and her partner Joseph Hoffman, Patricia and Howard Frey, Charlotte Seigley, and her “sisneice” (niece that’s like a sister) Debbie and her husband Jerry Shoul. She is predeceased by Jerome and Doris Shoul Sr. and Paul Merryman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Barbara enjoyed life and loved being around her family and friends. She was avid gardener and loved being outdoors, especially in her pool during family cookouts at her house. Traveling, bowling, going to the casino, enjoying crabs, shrimp and beer, having her morning/afternoon/evening “Dunkin Donuts” coffee no matter what time of day it was, drinking malibu and cranberry, having vanilla milkshakes, and having evening snowballs with her grandkids were the highlights of her life.

Family and friends may gather at St. Stanislaus Cemetery (6515 Boston Street, 21224) on August 12th at 12:00 p.m. A “Celebration of Life” will follow at Harewood Park Community Center (12940 Community Road, 21220).

The family requests “summer attire” such as Bermuda shorts as Barbara would say. Please come to laugh and celebrate the good times of Barbara.
