On December 20th, 2021 Brooks Piersol Jones passed away. He was the beloved son of Mary Katherine Jones Pechulis, loving son of the late Herbert Payne Jones, dear husband of Elizabeth Jones, and loving father of Preston and Addison Jones. He was also the caring brother of Mary Carolyn Johnson and Annelee Boutwell, caring step-brother of Roland Pechulis, and caring son-in-law of Mary and Barry Foster. He was also the cherished nephew of the late Otho James Haynie and the late Paul Piersol Haynie.
Brooks served as an acolyte at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Mt. Washington. He was also very active in the Boy Scouts of America. He received his Eagle Scout Award in 1967 at the Roland Park Presbyterian Church. He then went on to serve many more years as an adult leader while both of his sons were in Scouting.
Family and friends are invited to gather on January 2nd, 2022 at the Maryland State Game & Fish Protective Association (8735 Honeygo Blvd, Perry Hall, MD 21128) for a celebration of life starting at 12 PM.
