On August 20, 2014 Delia Dorothy (nee Gibson) Shipman passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late William Mathias Shipman; devoted mother of Delia Amato and her husband Harry, Daisy Fischer and her husband Thomas and William Shipman Jr. and his wife Rebecca the late Nancy VenDouern, Gene Shipman, Frederick Shipman and mother in law of Jeanie Shipman; dear sister of Samuel Gibson and the late Patrick Jones, Martin Jones, Mary Simpson, Loretta Frye, James Gibson and Margaret Travers; proud grandmother of Jessica Amato, Jacob Amato, Matthew Fischer, Jared Fischer, April Fischer, Deidre Fischer, Molly Shipman, Grace Shipman, Rene Fink, Rachael Orbitz, Alan VenDouern, Lee Shipman, Scott Shipman and DeDe Coomer; beloved great grandmother to Olivia Fischer, Elijah Fischer and Leonardo Caranza.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Miller-Dippel Funeral Home, Inc, 6415 Belair Rd, Baltimore MD 21206 on Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at the Shrine of the Little Flower Church on Saturday at 10 am with interment to follow at the Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery,
