Dolores Regina Canby

Dolores Regina Canby (nee Casparriello), age 93, of Middle River, Maryland passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022; beloved wife of the late William Thomas Canby; devoted mother of Regina Conroy (Michael) and Mary Ellen Spady; loving grandmother of William “Billy” Canby Spady (Daisy); great grandmother of Maverick Canby Spady; loving sister of Joan McNamara and the late Edward Casparriello, Mary “Mae” Rytel, Anita “Betty” O’Connor, Joseph Casparriello, Anthony “Dee” Casparriello, John “Jack” Casparriello and Patricia “Patty” Casparriello. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, “third daughter” Lisa Scanlon, her hospice nurse Nicole, her aid and caregiver Kim, and her 4 legged companion Bear. Dolores loved her family and was a devoted woman of God.

A Receiving of Friends for Dolores will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair Rd, Nottingham, MD 21236 on Sunday, November 13, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Church of the Annunciation, 5212 McCormick Ave, Baltimore, MD 21206.

Inurnment Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, 4430 Belair Road, Baltimore, MD 21206.
