

Dominic Richard Antonelli, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, entered eternal rest on January 13, 2025, at the age of 96. Born on June 16, 1928, in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the cherished son of Domenico and Elisa Antonelli.
A graduate of Calvert Hall College High School in Baltimore, Class of 1947, Dominic built a life rooted in faith, family, and love.
Dominic was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (née Gittings) Antonelli, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage. He was a devoted father to his son Richard Antonelli; Dominic was predeceased by his son Kevin Antonelli and Kevin’s late wife Carina. Later in life, he found love again and spent 18 wonderful years with his surviving wife, Barbara Ann Antonelli. Dominic extended his love to her two children, 5 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed time with his Dogs, Joseph and Mary, who will keep him company now.
Known affectionately as "Pop-Pop," Dominic found immense joy in his grandchildren Dina, Sara, Nicholas and his wife Nichole, Laura, Megan, Keli, Christina, and Diana. His legacy grew with the blessing of eight great-grandchildren.
Dominic was one of nine siblings and is survived by his sister Ida Bellistri. He was predeceased by Marie, Camillo, Adelina, Nicolina, Geno, Josephine, and Alice but remained close to many nieces and nephews throughout his life.
He retired from Thompson Steel and Wire in Sparrows Point, Maryland after working many dedicated years there. In between working, Dominic also loved playing Golf and had a love for all sports and watching his Grandchildren play their sports. He was a Great Coach to all!
Dominic will be remembered for his steadfast faith and the profound love he shared with his family. May his memory bring peace to all who knew him as they celebrate a life well-lived and a soul now at rest.
Relatives and friends will gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham MD 21236, on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 4-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at The St. Ursula Church, 8801 Harford Rd., Baltimore MD 21234, on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Interment Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
