Doris Orvis Lisek

Doris Orvis Lisek, age 98, of Baltimore, MD passed away on October 19, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Lisek for 64 years; devoted mother of Carol Lisek and her spouse Charlotte Hill of Sisters,OR, Sandy Vinton and her husband Mike of Parkton, MD, and Susan Rowe and her husband Jack of Stewartstown, PA; loving grandmother of Kyle Vinton and his wife Christina Blomberg, Kelley Vinton and Cudi, Chris Rowe and his wife Katilyn Mascatelli, and Laura Reid and her husband Hunter; loving great grandmother of Wally Vinton and Emmy Reid; dear sister of the late Naomi Sorrow and her late husband Jim, the late Alma Shymske and her husband Andy, Calvin Orvis and his wife Phyllis, Bernard Orvis and his late wife Marlene, the late Thelma Schwindel and her late husband Pete, and the late Norman Orvis and his wife Rose. Also survived by numerous loving relatives and friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 2-5 P.M., with a Memorial Service to begin at 5 P.M.

Doris’ ashes will be buried next to her late husband Michael at the Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens at a later date.
