Edward Leroy Hoffner

On July 1, 2019, Edward Leroy Hoffner passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Bonnie Mae Hoffner (nee Cardarelli); devoted father of Julia M. Dillard and her husband David, and Amanda L. Fischer and her husband Frederick "Ricky"; loving grandfather of Madelyn Mastin, Christian Dillard, Blake Fischer, Jace Fischer, and the late Jasmine Mastin; dear brother of James Booker, Sr., and the late Patricia Cooper, Lloyd "Buddy" Hoffner, Jr., and Meredith "Mert" Hoffner. Edward is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, as well as extended family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham, MD 21236, on Friday, July 5, 2019, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, at 11am, at the funeral home. Interment services will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ed's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
