What a great example of love you shared with me and the world!! You cherished Amy as I do! Thank you for raising a loving and caring women, Amy has grown to be a loving mother and wife that will forever shape mine and our children's lives. You will live on through Amy, Matt, Michael, Sarah and me. I am fortunate to be called your son-in-law!! You will be missed and loved!!

Sherry,  Muriel and I were shaken and so sorry to hear of Lee's loss.  He was truly a great guy and we will always remember his sense of humor and the stories he could tell.  Of course, growing up with Lee and Jack, we were more like brothers than cousins.  On the rare times we could all get together,  recall old times, and share stories it was one of those moments in life we all treasure.  Of course, Lee's stories were often a little exaggerated, and always blamed either Jack or me for urging him into trouble.  While, we won't be there to see Lee to a better place, our thoughts and prayers are with Lee, you and your family.
Lee brought good to others,  he has a wonderful wife and family and was well respected,  so be sure he was happy and content in life and will be remembered fondly.

Uncle Lee you leave behind with us the memories of your laughter, your jokes and sense of humor, your humility and strength, your example of dedication to work and home. I'll always remember my childhood moments and into my adulthood the memories of years past. My parents, Sue & Doug, were very close to Lee’s parents and our families would visit often when we were young children.    Later, I worked in the Southern District just below Lee’s post in Western where our friendship rekindled.  He used to easily make me laugh & I always felt much safer when he pulled up as a “back up” on dangerous & stressful calls. - - Very comforting indeed!  

We have since retired but would occasionally see each other at a retired police meeting to catch up, tell jokes & laugh about police work.  We survived!!

When I received notice he passed, my knees buckled, I got lightheaded and my breath was taken away!   

I wanted to come to the viewing and/or service to provide support but unfortunately I may be unable to do so.   So at this time I want your family to know Lee was a friend and will be missed.   Your family remains in my prayers for strength.

 A voice from the past, hope you remember me... Sorry to hear of Lee's passing.  I remember Lee from my Harbel days. I know what you are going through, my Jim passed in 2008 from brain cancer. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.  Judy Fritsche and Kurt Kocher were kind enough to share the sad news with me.

     We are so very sorry for this great loss.  We will miss seeing  his smiling face and hearing all of his wonderful stories.  We were blessed to be  apart of his life the last 13 years and will forever keep him in our hearts.

     I worked for quite a few years with Ed,  we called him "Lippy" in the Western District ([police district) of the Baltimore Police Dept, perhaps the most crime-filled district in the city. He was usually in a two-man car with Frank Stallings, who was killed in a motorcycle accident years ago.  What a pair!  Ed, "Lippy," was just a great guy, with a great sense of humor.  He was a good police officer.  He left the WD before I got promoted, and I always missed him.  We kept in touch a little after we both retired, and I will really miss him.   The world lost another great guy!
