On July 4, 2021 Elizabeth M. “Betty” Jackman (nee Lyons) passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late William A. Jackman, Sr.; devoted mother of David M. Jackman and his companion Tamar Kirkpatrick, Mark S. Jackman and his wife Deborah, Neal M. Jackman and his wife Cindy, and the late US Army Captain William A. Jackman, Jr.; cherished grandmother of Sean Jackman (Erin), Christopher Jackman (Kelsey), Mary Hill-Seaby (Patrick), and Brittney Jackman; loving great-grandmother of Elizabeth Jackman and Colin Jackman; she was preceded in death by her parents Martin Lyons and Helen Lyons (nee Kowalski); dear sister of Sr. Dorothy Lyons (Daughter of Charity).
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 AM at St. Ursula Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Elizabeth’s name to the Daughters of Charity, 341 S. Seton Ave. Emmitsburg, MD 21727.
