Frances “Frannie” LaCotti of Parkville, passed away on September 25, 2025 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph, her parents Perry and Catherine DeJohn, and her sister Marie DeJohn. She is survived by her son, Joe LaCotti and his wife Stacey, the light of her life, her grandson Leo, her sister Kathy Legassie and husband Bob, and many nieces and nephews who all loved her.
Family and friends are invited to are invited to gather for visitation at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 2:00 – 4 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
The funeral mass will take place at St. Ursula Catholic Church, located at 8801 Harford Rd, Parkville, MD 21234 on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 11 a.m. with a commitment ceremony at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Gilchrist Hospice, or the American Cancer Society.
