On August 27, 2021, George Watts Elder passed away. He was the beloved husband of Marguerite Elder, devoted step-father of Christine Smith and her husband Kevin and Deborah LaComb, loving grandfather of Alexandra LaComb, John LaComb, and Lauren Smith, compassionate uncle of Johnna Parker and Patrick Cheicante, cherished son of the late George William Elder and Madeline Ann Elder (nee Floyd), dear brother of the late Patricia Cheicante, caring brother-in-law to Chick Cheicante and Patricia and John Cook, and best friend of Steve Eliades.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. (9705 Belair Road Nottingham, MD 21236) on Monday September 13th from 2 -4 p.m. where a memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Interment private.
