I remember Gloria t MNB she was always pleasant and a great teller

Memories, memories so very cherished.  Our friendship has faded through the years due to distance, but we will never forget the good times we had with Gloria and Pete! Grief over a loved one who has died can seem to be overwhelming. But such grief is a necessary part of the healing process. It is said that talking, although not readily desired, can be a source of release. May you draw comfort from the fact that there is always one who hears you even in this time of bereavement (Job 10:1). Talk to God and he will assist you through this process. Please accept my condolences to you and your family during this time of loss.

Dear family of Gloria Freeland,

   I first met Gloria in the salon that I worked at.  She was a beautiful and stately women.  I had the privilege of styling her hair for 10 years.  I learned about many of the family members through our friendship.  She loved talking about her family, home and the love of her life, Mr. Pete(Forrest) Freeland.  I have journeyed with her through ups and downs, through weddings, births, and deaths.  I knew of her dog(s) Spicey and Boreguard.  She and Pete loved their dogs.  I supported her when Spice died,  and when they decided after a while to get Bo.  At first Pete didn't want another dog but then he softened and they got Bo.  He was a beautiful dog.  Right away Pete was melted and smitten with the new dog.  Gloria said, "For someone who didn't want a dog (Pete) he sure has taking to him!"  She told me how Pete and Bo would work together out in the garden.  Pete would be cleaning or raking and Bo would be there beside him digging frantically helping.  We talked about weddings of the grandchildren, births of the great grands.  I remember especially before Avery was born, Gloria told me that she had a dream of the baby and her name in the dream was Ava.  When Gloria heard that the baby's name was Avery, we couldn't believe how close the dreamed name had been! Gloria talked about family's get together's, holidays, how she loved to cook. She also told me of her love of the water and how she loved to ski.  I fell in love with her, too.  When Mr. Pete died, I saw a lot of the spark go out in her face.  I can't imagine how she felt especially after being with someone you love so long.  She always said "He is a tall drink of water."  I had cut Mr. Pete's hair a few times, too.  He sure was tall.  Very nice also.  I just want you to know that I will miss her sorely also.  My Friday's will never be the same.  My greatest sympathy to the family.
