On March 31, 2025, Harvey Roscoe Mason Sr. peacefully passed away. He was the beloved husband of the late Velma G. Mason (nee Weaver); devoted father of Rhonda R. Mason, and Harvey “Breezie” Mason Jr., and his wife Jeneen; loving grandfather of Alexis A. Eley, Madison A. Mason, and Ethan M. Mason; dear brother of Philip Mason, Oris Mason (Janet), John Mason, Lynn Mason (Ramona), Alfred Mason (Stella), Gloria Drake, Shirley Reid, Sally Flanders, Cecelia Cameron (William), Alice Riley, and the late James Mason, Elsa Chiles, and Wilma Manning; beloved son of the late James and Mabel Mason; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many loving friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at the Mason Cemetery, in Virginia, Saturday April 26, 2025 at 2:00pm.
