On January 27, 2016, Helen Smith Lauenstein; loving mother of Norman and wife Cynthia, Michael and wife Barbara, Douglas and wife Joyce; beloved grandmother of Leanne, Ashley, Lindsay, Brent, Amy, Jessica and Paige; great-grandmother to five great-grandchildren. Helen was pre-deceased by her brother John Vernon Smith and her parents John Smith and Helen Smith Brubaker and husband Earl. Helen was an avid gardener with a passion for bonsai trees. She loved to travel and, on one of her final trips, fulfilled a lifelong dream by traveling on her own across country by train. Interment is private.
