On July 20, 2024, Irene R. McAree (nee Mayhorne) passed away peacefully. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas J. McAree; devoted mother of Tracey L. Walker, her husband Phil; loving grandmother of Jordan Walker, Matthew Walker; dear sister of Marvin William Mayhorne, the late Eugene Mayhorne, the late Kenneth Mayhorne, and the late Davis Mayhorne Jr.
A visitation and light breakfast fare for Irene will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd, Nottingham, MD 21236. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM. Interment at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
