James Edward Schammel

On March 16, 2023, James Edward Schammel, Jr.; beloved husband of Nancy Schammel; dear brother of Sr. James Brian Schammel, SSND; brother-in-law of Michael Zinser (Joan), Harry Zinser (late Teresa), and Thomas Zinser (Janet). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends will gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham MD 21236, on Thursday, March 23, 2023, from 7-9 p.m. & Friday, March 24, 2023, from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 25, 2023, 11:30 a.m. at Villa Assumpta, 6401 N. Charles St., Baltimore MD 21212 (entrance off Bellona Ave.). Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to School Sisters of Notre Dame, 6401 N. Charles St., Baltimore MD 21212.

For anyone attending the Funeral Mass, the Villa requires all to wear a mask while inside and to have the current Bi-Valiant Booster and a Flu Shot.
