My dearest friend shock pain and utter disbelief that JFA was gone. Mare, you and I have been together many years and I'll be there for you for many more in the future. Yes Johnny always referred to Irene as "little girl" She and you made him complete. Dave hugs to all 3 of you. Be there for one another and keep JFA memory going.
Love you so very much Mare Irene and Dave

Dearest Irene and Mary,
We are so sad and heartbroken over the passing of your Father and Husband. I had the absolute privilege of meeting your parents many years ago when you and Davey went to your prom. I thought to myself, that man had such a great big, wonderful personality. He was so easy to talk to and be around. Made you feel like he new you forever.
You could see how he spoke and looked at both you and your Mother, you were both his world. I can’t thank him or your Mother for including my nephew in your family, like their own. Please know you girls are in my heart, thoughts, and prayers. And know your Dad will always be watching over you both.
May his memory be Eternal☦️
Love, Aunt Lisa

We are so sorry for your profound loss. John, your dear husband and father, was so personable. We loved seeing him when we came to have our hair cut and as a result Frank had some long haircuts, hanging around to talk with him. There are no words we can say to make you feel better now but please know that we love you and we will be there for you for whatever you may need. Rest In Peace John.
Love, Frank and GLoria Barlow

Mare,
There are just no words, but there are years full of memories, treasured times and antics that we will hold in our hearts forever! I will be here to hold you hand, wipe your tears, cry with you and make you laugh until we fall off our seats. When I first met you, you and Johnny had just gotten married and from that point on I witnessed first hand, up close and personal a truly remarkable “ Love Story” of all times that was in the making. I am so privileged to have been able to see such a miracle and beautiful things unfold before my very eyes and remember, he was my JFA ❤️💔

Mary & Irene ,
We were heartbroken when we heard of Johnny’s passing . We were so blessed to have your family in our lives. Johnny made everyone feel like family, damn he was so much fun to be around! Mary, so many years I didn’t know Irenes name, I knew her as “little girl”. Because that’s what Johnny called her . You and little girl were Johnny’s world.
We are so sorry for your loss.
Love, Tina & David Dolan

While we didn't get to see each other nearly enough, I am so grateful that we've been able to see each other over these last several years during my trips to DC. One of my favorite memories is when Phil surprised you by being there too. We had such a fun night full of laughs, toasts, hugs, and lots of love.

Dear Mary,
It was with great sorrow and surprise that I received the news of John’s passing. May God’s peace and loving comfort be with you at this difficult time. It’s so sad to lose a member of our Corvette family.
I have grown to know and appreciate you and John from the many, many Corvette shows we attended. John was an enthusiastic member of the “BelAir Gang” we competed against at events. He was very proud of his Corvette, and always kept it in great condition. More than that, he was always friendly and inquisitive, and his presence at events added to the flavor and fun of those gatherings. I used to kid him that he reminded of George Thorogood, the rock—n-roller; his reply to that was “Well, that’s not a bad thing!” And that reply always came with his wry little smile. I will miss him.
Be thankful for your time together. May the love of family and friends sustain you at this difficult time.
May God bless...

John was a kind, funny sole. I'll never forget all the evenings we spent together. From New year's in 99 to the Crab cash events. You were a sole that was taken away from others to early. I'm thankful to have gotten a few moments with you.
