John Paul Barnett

On March 9, 2021, John Paul Barnett passed away. He was the beloved husband of Nancy Irene Barnett (nee Dougherty); devoted father of Deanna Nicole Burke and her husband John; loving grandfather of John Perry Burke, Reid Barnett Burke, and Ellis William Burke; dear brother of Stanley Eugene Barnett and his wife Dale, Jean Carol Barnett, and William Ringo Barnett; cherished uncle of J. Michael Barnett, Elizabeth Millar, and Faith Barnett; beloved great-uncle of Hannon Barnett and Emma Millar. Also survived by his devoted Black Lab Pearl.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Saturday, March 13, 2021, from 10am to 12pm, with a funeral service at 12pm. Interment services will be private. Those desiring may make a memorial donation in John’s name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
