John Joseph Hmelnicky, age 97, of Perry Hall, MD passed away on October 21, 2023. He was the beloved husband, for 67 years, of the late Betty Gunter Hmelnicky; devoted father of John Stephen Hmelnicky and his wife Ruth, and Beth Hmelnicky Siemek and her husband Joe; loving grandfather of Melissa Hmelnicky and her wife Jill Tighe, Steve, Brian, and Michael Hmelnicky, Adam Siemek and his wife Rachel, and Garrett, and Hailey Siemek; dear brother of the late George Menarick, and the late Anna Mae Hmelnicky; cherished great-grandfather of Colton Wilson; beloved uncle of Barbara and Phillip Russo and family of Exeter, PA
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 27, 2023, at 11 A.M., at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 8420 Belair RD, Baltimore, MD 21236. Interment services will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John’s name to the Knights of Columbus Fr.
