Joseph Thomas Ferraracci, former Maryland State Senator, passed away on August 25, 2023. He was the beloved husband of the late Constance Elizabeth Ferraracci (nee Cegielski); devoted father of Diane L. O’Brien and her late husband Larry, Susan M. Wright and her husband John, and Joseph V. Ferraracci and his wife Tara; loving grandfather of seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; dear brother of Geraldine Oler. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, from 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at 10:30 A.M., at the Church of the Annunciation (5212 McCormick Ave, Baltimore, MD 21206). Interment will follow at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery (Dundalk, MD). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Joseph’s name to the Kidney Foundation at www.kidney.org.
