Karen M. Licharowicz

On September 18, 2015, Karen M. Licharowicz (nee Bavis) passed away. She was the beloved wife of Stanley J. Licharowicz, Sr.; devoted mother of Lara Riggio and her husband Joseph, and Stan “Stas” Licharowicz, Jr. and his wife Sarah; loving grandmother of Evlyn and Elaina Licharowicz; dear sister of Robert Bavis, III, Gregg Bavis, Patti Bavis-Puller, and the late Linnea Bavis; cherished niece of Norman Bavis. Also survived by many loving extended family members and friends. Karen was a devoted and caring nurse at Mercy Medical Center for 30 years. She also served in the Army Nurse Corps stationed in Korea.

Relatives and friends may gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham, MD 21236, on Friday September 25th from 3-5 and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 12:30pm at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church 3615 Harford Rd., Baltimore, MD 21218. Interment private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Karen’s name to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church or Gilchrist Hospice Care 11311 McCormick Rd., Hunt Valley, MD 21031.
