Lenora Ann Hinkel (nee Burns), age 83, of Nottingham, MD, passed away on March 21, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Charles Carter Hinkel, Sr.; devoted mother of Kelley Darlene Hinkel, and Charles Carter Hinkel, Jr. and his wife Duangjan; loving grandmother of James Carter Hinkel, Preston Tyler Hinkel, and Alexis Taylor Hinkel; dear sister of James Richard Burns, Jr. and his wife Dianne, the late Ronald Warren Burns, and the late Darlene Joyce Burns Fonzi. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 10 A.M to 12 P.M., with a funeral service to begin at 12 P.M. Interment will follow at Parkwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lenora’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org, or the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org
