On February 11, 2022, Leonard “Lenny” M. Pennepacker, Jr. passed away unexpectedly in his sleep. Lenny was a cherished father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He was a person who always looked at the brighter side of life - his optimism and wisdom were something to admire. He loved sports and vacationing with his family – that’s when he was at his happiest. He was the type of man who never missed a day of work or a Sunday morning at church. He will be remembered, and he will be forever missed. He is survived by his devoted children Maureen Eiswert and her husband Michael, Brett Pennepacker, Paris Pennepacker, and long-time spouse and mother to his children - Beth Pennepacker. Lenny is the beloved son of Carolyn Konarski and her husband James, and Leonard Pennepacker, Sr, and his wife Sharon. Loving grandfather to Cayden Pennepacker and Ever Eiswert. Cherished significant other of Cathe Comegys-Drane and dear brother to Raymond and Kevin Pennepacker, and his wife Dyana. Beloved Uncle to Madison, Isiah, Amelia, and Bella Pennepacker. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Thursday, March 3, 2022, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, at 11 AM, at the Edgemere Church of God, 7414 Ellen Avenue, Sparrows Point, MD 21219. Interment services will be private.
