

LeRoy Michael Beck, of Baltimore, Maryland, peacefully passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the age of 86. LeRoy was born in Baltimore, Maryland February 25, 1937 to his late parents Adele Frances (nee Lilly) and William Howard Beck. A graduate of Mt. St. Joseph High School and University of Baltimore, where he received his Bachelors of Science. His work history was with the same company though it changed names through the years, starting with Western Electric, Bell Atlantic and Verizon. Some of his past times were spent gardening, reading, traveling to Disney World and the beach, and watching all sports, especially the Colts, Orioles, and Ravens. He also enjoyed playing Golf and Fishing. His favorite times were with cherished family and friends. LeRoy was a devoted husband of 57 years to his late wife Elizabeth M. Beck (Waechter) and late siblings: William Howard Beck, Jr., William Beck, John Patrick Beck, C. Thomas Beck and Howard William Beck. He is survived by his Dear brother Jerome R. Beck, sister Barbara Nowakoski, his sweetheart Marlene Muddiman and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family will receive guests for LeRoy at Schimunek Funeral Home, Nottingham 9705 Belair Rd, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Thursday, July 13 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Ursula’s Catholic Church 8801 Harford Road Parkville, MD 21234 on Friday, July 14 at 12pm. A private interment will be held at a later date.
