On April 2, 2017, Louis Franklin Bowers passed away. He was the beloved husband of JoAnne Bowers (nee Reed); devoted father of Kerri Lynn Mattes and her husband David, and Kenneth Louis Bowers and his wife Phyllis; loving grandfather of Ronnie Wilson, Kevin Bowers, Savannah Mattes, and Thomas Mattes; dear brother of Shirley Coster and Evelyn Porter.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc. 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham, MD 21236, on Wednesday April 5, 2017 from 10am -12pm; with a funeral service to follow at 12pm. Interment service will be held at Camp Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Louis’ name to the Defenders of Animal Rights, Inc. 14412 Old York Rd., Pheonix, MD 21131.
