“Aurora,” as she was fondly known, was the second daughter of three to Martin and Eufemia. At 19, she left her native Philippines to embark on a new adventure in Canada and later settled in Baltimore, Maryland. A retired supervising Clinical Laboratory Scientist with 40 years of experience, Aurora was known for her fierce determination, dedicated work ethic, and empowering leadership style. But to those who had the honor of truly knowing her, she will always be remembered as an empathetic, supportive, and loving soul.
Aurora is survived by many loving individuals including her husband, three children and their spouses, six grandchildren, and countless family and friends. The family is grateful to know that Aurora is finally at peace.
In lieu of traditional funeral services, a celebration of life will be held in Aurora’s honor. Details will be available at a later time.
