Markella Marie Mihalos

Beloved daughter of the late George S. and Jean L. Mihalos, passed peacefully on June 5, 2017.

Markella, a strong willed individual, one who gave abundantly, loving, caring, and generous, is survived by her sisters and brothers, Georgia, Michele, George Jr., and Steven.

She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Tom, Renee, Donny, Georgie, and Nicole; and her great nieces and nephew, Sophia, Michaela, Dominick, and Ava, whom she loved with all her heart.

There is also brother in laws, Don and Tom; her niece Renee's husband Mike, and her nephew Tom's wife Karen, and her nephew Donny's girlfriend Anna, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Markella loved her family wholeheartedly. She played guitar, loved music, had taught Sunday School, was a teacher's aide in day care, and believed in the Lord Jesus Christ. She will be missed deeply. Rest in peace, Mark, {what we called her}, we love you. God's speed.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Greek Orthodox Cemetery (Windsor Mill Rd).
