On July 9, 2023, Marlene C. Strobel (nee Walter) passed away peacefully. She was the beloved wife of the late Chris E. Strobel; devoted daughter of the late Edgar and Louise Walter; dear sister of June Sharkey (the late John), the late Mary Lou Hooper (William); loving aunt of Karen Huether, Carol Hatcher, Bryan Hooper, Steven Sharkey, Kimberly Hilliard, Lynn Hodges, Melissa Haigley, and their families.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Saturday, July 15, 2023, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Marlene’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N.
