Mercedes Gueco Crisostomo

On December 4, 2021, Mercedes Gueco Crisostomo passed away at her home with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Leon Domingo Crisostomo; devoted mother of Antoniette Crisostomo, Jesus Crisostomo and his wife Judith, Maria Lourdes Silverio and her husband Levy, Maria Cristina Martinez and her husband George, Jose Godalfredo Crisostomo and his wife Maria Theresa, and Maria Cecilia Butad; loving grandmother of Marc Martinez and his wife Ashley, Louie Silverio, Kneil Martinez, Leslie Silverio, JoAn Sarsfield and her husband Doug, Leonard Crisostomo and his wife Lizel, Jessica Crisostomo, Crishia Martinez, Bianca Butad, Kaitlyn Crisostomo, and John Brian Butad; cherished great-grandmother of Penelope Lee Sarsfield. Mercedes was predeceased by twelve siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 3-9 PM. A Memorial Mass of Christian Funeral will be celebrated on, Monday, December 13, 2021, at 11 AM, at St. Joseph Catholic Church (Fullerton, MD). Inurnment to follow in the adjoining church cemetery. The family has requested that all visitors please wear a mask at the funeral home and at the church. Also, please do not attend the services if you have not been fully vaccinated or if you are not feeling well. The family would also like to request that any flowers sent to the funeral please be all white in color. Thank you.
