We came to know Michael when we moved and became his next-door neighbors 6 years ago. We would see him play golf in his backyard often, sometimes chat with us, and even play guitar in the church until he fell ill. He was a friendly and happy person. Our deepest condolences and prayers go out to the family that you will find comfort in knowing that Michael's memories will live on with those he touched and that he is in a better place. We always prayed for him and we continue to pray for the family in these trying times. In God's arms may he rest.

My memories of Michael are his friendliness and gentleness. I did not know him well, but whenever I saw him he was smiling. He always had a kind thing to say. I am sure that he also had inner strength that helped him to cope with his illness. I am sad that he had to leave his family and friends, but believe he is in heaven and will be one of their guardian angels. Prayers for his family.

I met Michael through My sister and brother in law Stephanie and Bruce Bryant.  I had the pleasure of standing in for Steph at Michael's wedding.  Michael had an easy way about him, he was always happy and knew how to make you feel happy just being near him. He always had a smile and a easy going laugh. Michael truly was The Nicest Guy.  He was very sweet with our girls, Megan, Morgan and especially Casey.  We will miss that constant smile and easy going laugh. Our love and prayers go out to the entire Gianotti Family.

I met Michael as a junior in college ,had the honor of being in his wedding and was there for the births of all 4 children. I got to know the HEART of Michael. I saw what a wonderful father he was and the love he has for all of his family and friends. Once you were a friend of Michael’s he never forgot about you. One of his biggest attributes on this grief filled time is the love he had for the Lord. I know Michael had deep faith and I attribute most of that to his faith filled parents Phyllis and Fred. Michael’s faith was so important to him that he was a long standing member of the church choir and had close friendships with many  of the parishioners. I choose to remember Michael as a man with a deep compassion and love for God and I know that his soul will live forever in heaven and actively in the hearts of all his children, parents, sister and friends he left behind. Rest In Peace my friend.

I went to Perry Hall High School with Mike and we both played in the string orchestra. I have so many fond and funny memories of him. My deepest condolences to his family. He was such a sweet and talented guy.

Dear Gianotti Family,

We would like to express our deepest sympathy.  We only knew Michael for a short period of time, but loved seeing him in church playing the guitar and stopping by the house to say "Hi" while on our walks in the neighborhood.

Our daughters played softball years ago. It was always a joy to hang out and laugh with him on these weekends ,waiting between games at tournaments. Great sense of humor and a great guy. Prayers to him and his family
