Rachel A. Mobley

September 10, 1946 – February 16, 2025

Rachel A. Mobley, beloved daughter of the late Moses James and the late Lear Rogers-Flourney, was born on September 10, 1946. She was the third-born child and the last to depart, surrounded by her loved ones, before being reunited with her children and siblings: Dwayne James, Regina & Rodney Bailey, Sharon Murray, Lottie Williams, Thomas Rogers, Helen Davis, Doris James, and her beloved Aiysha.

Rachel, affectionately known as "Rae" by her friends and family, was raised in Baltimore and educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. She dedicated her life to the Lord and grew up on Durham Street. She worked at the Johns Hopkins Club, where she gave 42 years of dedicated service before retiring in 2014.

Her cherished grandchildren: Shamera, Danielle, Jamar, Toya, Javon, Kenny, Brenda, Chantia, Joshline, Darius, Leon, and Kavon.

A multitude of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended loved ones.

Service Information:

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #4, 9304 Harford Rd, Baltimore, MD 21234.
