On February 25, 2026 Raymond Joseph Guanti, Sr. passed away. He was the beloved husband of Nancy Guanti and the late Joan Guanti; devoted father of Raymond Guanti, John Guanti and his girlfriend Rhonda, Mark Guanti and his wife Janet, and Douglas Guanti and his wife Rene; cherished grandfather of Tyler Tagg and her husband Jarrod, Garrett Guanti, Scott Guanti, Ray Guanti, and Nick Guanti; loving great-grandfather of Kinsley and Leland Connell; beloved son of the late Fannie and Louis Guanti; dear brother of John Guanti and his late wife Joan, and Louis Guanti and his wife Barbara.
Raymond retired from General Motors after 20 years of service.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 10AM-12PM, where a Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens.
