Richard Theodore Utz, age 82, of Nottingham, MD, passed away on May 20, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Sue Utz (nee Bainbridge); devoted father of Martin Richard Utz and his wife Sharon, Barry Allen Utz and his wife Wendy, and Roberta Lynn Paquin and her husband Kenneth; loving grandfather of Shannon McElwee and her husband Bill, Eric Utz and his wife Megan, Andrew Utz and his wife Natalie, Emily Utz and her husband Cameren Stevenson, Michael Utz and his fiancé Katherine Laird, Joseph Paquin, and Molly Paquin; cherished great-grandfather of Stephen Utz, Bennett McElwee, Mason Utz, and Grace Stevenson.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Friday, May 26, 2023, from 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 11 A.M., at St. Michael Lutheran Church, 9534 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236. Interment services are private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Richard’s name to St. Michael Lutheran Church.
