Robert H. Phillips, Sr.

On July 10, 2014, Robert H. Phillips, Sr.; cherished husband for 58 years of Lois Phillips (nee Laumann); devoted and beloved father of Robin Wintz and her husband Thomas, Robert H. Phillips, Jr. and his wife Katherine, Leslie Karwacki and her husband Chris, and Mary Beth Creighton and her husband Jerry; treasured Pop Pop of Christopher Karwacki, Jr. and his wife Heather, Kara Fox, Stephanie Doyle and her husband Chris, Kelly Parker and her husband John, Zachary, Samuel, and Jacob Creighton, Katie Lutz and her husband Dave, and Thomas Wintz, Jr. and his fiance Sonila; dear great-grandfather of Caleb, Olivia, Benjamin, Caroline, Joey, Jack, Elijah, and Hannah; loving brother of Doris Hebbel and Elizabeth Kelly. He was a Highway Design Engineer for 25 years with the MD State Highways, and a USN Corpsman from 1945-1949.

Relatives and friends may gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236, on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Monday at 11am at St. Michael Lutheran Church. Interment Church Cemetery.
