Robert Lloyd White

Robert Lloyd White (1931-2025), age 94, peacefully passed away July 30, 2025 at Parkridge Assisted Living, Peoria, Arizona. Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife Beulah Joan White. He was the devoted father of Robert White and his wife Rhonda of Ponte Vedra, Florida, and David White and his wife Kathy, of Surprise, Arizona; loving grandfather of Megan Doty, her husband Matthew, Katlyn Amenta, her husband Brian, Lindsay White and Michael White; cherished great grandfather of Stella Grace and Savannah Doty and Rhys and Beau Amenta; dear brother of Wayne White and his wife Linda, David White and his wife Nancy; the late Diane Sigal and the late Barbara Ussery.

Robert served in the US Marine Corps April 1952-1954. He served in the Korean War in the 1st Marine Division, HQ Battalion Air/Naval Gunfire Platoon and was honorably discharged.

He retired from CSX Railroad after 40 years as a Director of Property & Casualty Insurance.

Robert was a member of Camp Chapel United Methodist Church Perry Hall, Maryland and served in many functions of the church including the Building Committee and choir member.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at the Camp Chapel United Methodist Church, 5000 E Joppa Rd, Perry Hall, MD 21128. The interment will follow at the Camp Chapel Church Cemetery.
