On February 20, 2026, Ruth Irene Tedone (nee DeLong), passed away. Ruth is the beloved wife of the late Joseph Tedone; devoted mother of Virginia Anne Marks (Tom), Daniel Miller (Debbie), David Miller (Laurie), Tamsen Zettlemoyer and the late Gary Miller and Ralph Miller (Anne-surviving); loving grandmother of Joshua McCloud, Jason McCloud, LeAnne Young, TJ Marks, Sara Curtis, Susan, Mary Guimond, Roger Miller, Jake Miller, Seth Miller, Gary Kobelski, April Questersteffen, Cindy, and Mary; dear sister of Wayne DeLong, Brian DeLong, and the late Carl DeLong, Aubrey DeLong, and Bernie DeLong. Also survived by many great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
Relatives and friends will gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd, Nottingham MD 21236, on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 6-9 p.m., and where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Interment Holly Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Ruth’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis TN 38105.
