Sarah Belle Myrick was born on January 15, 1925 in Enfield, North Carolina to Betty Lou and Thomas Norman. She entered into eternal rest on March 18, 2012. At the early age, she had a brief stay in Baltimore then moved to New York where she later married the late Clifton Lee Myrick, Sr. Sarah was devoted to her religion and became deeply involved with the Jehovah's Witnesses in the early 1950's. She stayed involved until illness and age caused her memory to fade. Sarah positively touched many lives. Sarah loved the family. There was nothing she would not do to help and support any member who needed her. For 18 years she worked at the United States Postal Service as a mail sorter. Out of her seven children, She leaves to mourn one daughter Josephine Cornick, two sons Michael and Monte Myrick, one sister Katie Berry, one sister-in-law Dorothy Norman, fourteen grand-children and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
