On August 2nd, 2022 Sophia Carmelina Sacca “Lina” passed away at the age of 93. She is the precious daughter of the late Alfio Pulia and Vincenza (Cosentino) Pulia; beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Sacca; devoted mother of son Paul Sacca and his wife Melina Sacca, and daughter Lucy Steck and her husband Dieter Steck; loving grandmother of the late Danielle Renee Steck and the late Daniel Joseph Steck, as well as Jennifer Felhauer and her husband Jim, Lisa Steck, Marco Sacca and his wife Gianni, Christina Veprek and her husband David, Jessica Pricer and her husband T.J., Robert Sacca, Michael Sacca and his wife Colleen, and Angela Warfel and her husband Ryan; cherished great grandmother of Jordan (Marissa), Marisa (Evan), Nick, Justin, Alexandra, Elle, Brooks, Hayes, Blake, Brennan, Karson and her husband Tyler, Daniela, Mason, Reid, Avery, and Juliet; and dear sister of Giuseppe Salvatore Pulia and his wife Pina, and the late Maria Petralia and her late husband Salvatore, and the late Sebastian Pulia and his wife the late Rosa. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.
A visitation for Sophia “Lina” will be held at the Schimunek Funeral Home in Nottingham, on Monday, August 8th from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 9th, at 10am, at St. Joseph Church, Fullerton.
Entombment will follow at the Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
