On December 11, 2023 Stanley L. "Stan" Curtain, Jr. passed away. He was the husband of Valerie Curtain; beloved son of Shirley M. Curtain and the late Stanley L. Curtain, Sr.; loving brother of Mark Curtain and his fiancée Joanna Proctor; cherished nephew of Lois Ewing and her husband Roland.
Stan was an accomplished athlete at Perry Hall Senior High School and Towson State University, where throughout his career he won several awards and championships for wrestling. He was Perry Hall Senior High School's Scholar Athlete in 1977. He was a devout Christian. He also enjoyed football, fishing, other outdoor activities, he was an avid Baltimore sports fan.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 1-3 PM, where a Celebration of Life will be held at 2:30 PM. A reception will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
