Theresa Joan Ward

On February 13, 2017 Theresa Joan Ward beloved wife of the late John Robert “Bob” Ward; devoted mother of Robert Ward and his spouse Cyndi, Gregory Ward and his spouse Dawn, Mary Kim Ward and her spouse Adrienne True, Susan Hahn and her husband Robert, Daniel Ward and his spouse Barbara, Mary Lisa Kay and her husband Richard and the late Christopher Ward; dear sister of Carol McCormick and her husband Joseph; also survived by 14 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Ward graduated from Seton High School in 1949. She and Bob were married in 1953. She was a devoted homemaker and active parishioner at St. Mary’s Govans in Baltimore and Immaculate Heart of Mary in Towson.

The family will receive friends at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. (9705 Belair Road Nottingham, MD 21236) on Thursday from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Inurnment in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
