I was notified of the passing of Tom by the Orioles support staff.  I worked lower 8 with Tom and although I didn't work beside him in the stands, I saw him in meetings and exchanged pleasantries in our lobby passing.  Last home stand I noticed he was moving a little slower than normal and I asked if he was ok - he said yes and when I pressed, he told me it was a treatment week.  He was such a quiet man that I didn't even know he was sick.  He was so nice, always a smile and nice word for a co-worker.  I'll miss that gentle smile!  Prayers to his family and friends.

I have known Tom for about 25 years nicest man you will ever meet. When his wife passed away, I often thought about him and how he was doing.  When I found out he had cancer I thought of him even more praying he could beat this awful disease. Tom was loved by many, will be surely missed, I’m honored to call him, my friend .

I was notified of Tom's passing by the Orioles event staff coordinator, as I am an Orioles event staff member like Tom had been since 2023. I never got the opportunity to meet him, but by reading the obituary, it seems like he has a wonderful family with many people who loved and cared about him. I am glad that he had the opportunity to have not just a grandchild, but also a great grandchild. That is a great accomplishment, and his loved ones must be proud of the life he led. I am sorry that he is no longer with us, but it will be good for him to be with his late wife again in heaven. Condolences to Tom's family and loved ones, and I wish you all nothing but the best.

I’m so very sorry to learn of Tom‘s passing. Tom and I worked together in PNC for many years and he will always be remembered fondly.

I had the pleasure of working with Tom for many years at PNC.  Tom was one of those few people that are a true joy to know.  He treated everyone he met as though they were his life long acquaintance.  Rest in peace my friend.

Dear Jen and Family,

Though I never had the opportunity to work directly with Tom, I wanted to extend my deepest condolences to you and your loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
I currently sit at Tom’s former desk, and I had the privilege of meeting him for lunch with Eve Shavatt not long ago. We shared laughs about how that particular desk is perfectly positioned, everyone stops by to chat, and it somehow makes whoever sits there the “popular person” in the office. Tom had a great sense of humor about it, and that brief interaction left a lasting impression on me.
But I’ve come to realize it was never really about the desk or its location. It was Tom himself. Everyone I’ve spoken with who worked with him has echoed the same sentiments, how warm, kind, and genuinely remarkable he was.
To this day, the desk still has the old desk phone with his number. Occasionally, I’ll answer a call from someone asking for him, and in those moments, it feels like he’s still a part of our team, still making connections, still remembered.
Please know that we are thinking of you and your family. May the love and memories you hold bring comfort and strength in the days ahead. We will continue to honor Tom here in the office and keep his spirit alive in our hearts.

I am so deeply saddened to hear of the passing far too soon of my dear friend and former colleague. Tom was truly one of a kind—a gentle giant with a heart full of kindness and humility. Soft-spoken and unassuming, he had a quiet strength that made everyone feel supported and respected. He was the kind of person who would drop everything to help a colleague, never expecting anything in return.

He often underestimated his own worth, but those of us who worked alongside him knew better. He preferred to stay out of the spotlight, yet he still stood out—for his generosity, his good nature, and the calm, steady presence he brought to every room.

Outside of work, he was full of surprises—riding his motorcycle, strumming a guitar or spinning music at weddings and other celebrations.

Most of all, Tom was a devoted family man, whose love and dedication to them was clear in everything he did. His loss leaves a deep hole in the hearts of those of us whose lives he touched.

May he rest in peace, and may Jen and his family find comfort in knowing how deeply he was admired and loved.

Tom's presence was like a gentle light that illuminated every space he entered. His soulful eyes held a warmth that made everyone feel seen and cherished, while that signature twinkle revealed the joy he carried within. 
He had such a gift for creating connection - hosting lively gatherings filled with laughter, surrounded by the friends, family, and beloved pets who meant everything to him.
My childhood days spent in his company remain among my life's most precious memories.
Tom's infectious smile and generous soul created ripples of kindness that will continue to spread long after his physical presence has faded. While our world feels forever changed without him, we carry forward the warmth he shared so freely, the love he gave so generously, and the countless beautiful memories he helped create. 
Rest peacefully, dear sweet Tom - your light continues to shine through all of us who were blessed to know you. 🙏💙🕊️

The world is a little less bright,  a little less, peaceful,  a little less warm, a little less hopeful,  a little less kind with out you sweet Tom. You were the calm, the courteous,  the gentleman (truly!) with the most inviting and infectious smile--the solid, strong Oak tree with the Weeping Willow effect.  What are we supposed to do all that gone? 💔

Mr. Tom will be missed dearly ,he was like a second father to me when I was in high school with his daughter Jennifer . I remember he used to call me his lil tax deduction because I was over their house so much . He knew the troubles I had growing up with my real family and he never judged me at all he always made me feel welcomed in his home . I will miss you mr. Tom I will never forget you. ❤️

A truly gentle and kind man, good heart, good spirit. . . Our family and extended families were so blessed that Tom always showed a guiet strength and fairness in his actions and attitude. We will never forget his presence and how fortunate we were that we knew and loved him. Miss you ALWAYS, dearest Tom!    I can hear Georgia calling you now!
