William Lewis Ortloff Jr.

William Lewis Ortloff, Jr., 86, Man of faith, Korean War Veteran, Our PopPool and hero, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his beloved wives the late Loray and Josephine Ortloff. He was the devoted father of Vickie Mauzy and her late husband Glenn, Debbie Dawson and her husband Steven, Sherry Broyles and her husband Barry, and Larry Hughes and his wife Sharon. William was an unforgettable grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather, as well as a cherished uncle and loving friend.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 9705 Belair Rd., Nottingham, MD 21236, on Thursday, February 20, 2020, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, at 11:30am, at the funeral home. Interment services will follow at Baltimore National Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in William’s name to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231.
