Jared Wylly Overfield

Jared was born on a lovely June evening at Marin General Hospital to Peter and Patty Overfield and his big brother David Overfield.

Jared grew up in Novato, California and attended All Saints Child Care, Lu Sutton Elementary, Novato Charter School, Sinaloa Middle School, and Marin Waldorf. He graduated from San Marin High School in 2004.

As a child he played Little League with his buddies until his love for soccer took over. His speed and grace on the field was a joyful thing to behold. He was an avid snowboarder and a venturous BMX’r, which was only over shadowed by his love of his friends and family.

After his graduation he attended Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California, but returned home to Novato to work for both his dads, Peter then Dan before moving on to Maggiora Ghilotti Construction. He found himself rewarded and challenged in his new career. He loved the comradery, pride of completion and the bonds built through hard work.

He was a man who enjoyed life and in turn life enjoyed him. With his easy smile and open heart he embraced and held close his relationships. His sharp wit, uncanny dry sense of humor and seemingly endless knowledge on a vast range of interests, most notably MUSIC, FILM, FASHION and Basketball. With his discerning eye and sharing spirit he enjoyed becoming an informed resource for his friends and family

But the most important facet of his being was his earnest soul which allowed him a great ease with all those he encountered.

He is lovingly survived by his parents: Peter Overfield, Patty Overfield-Zamberlin, Dan Zamberlin, Cindy Rhoton-Overfield. Brothers: David Overfield, Jonathan Zamberlin, Riley Overfield. Sisters: Jessica Rhoton, Makaila Overfield, Laura Overfield. Loving Grandparents: Ralph Overfield and the late beloved Elizabeth Overfield, Jackie and John Zamberlin.
