Jill Lewis Was born in Reading, England March 29, 1938. She later moved to Italy, then Canada and finally settled in Novato California where she lived for the past 30 years. She lost her battle with cancer on July 14, 2010. Jill is survived by her husband David "Vic" Lewis, her sister Topsy Bradshaw, her daughters Suzanne Putman (Rich), Jacquelyn Mahaney (Jeff) and Jane Lewis (Matt), seven grandchildren, two nieces and doggie Pickle. Jill was a gentle and gracious soul with a fantastic sense of humor, she was an excellent friend, a great dancer and an awesome mother. She loved reading and had a particular talent for writing humorous poems. She was a great animal lover who over the years adopted many pets from the Marin Humane Society. No words could adequately express how much she is going to be missed by her family. A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 PM on August 20th at her home in Novato.
