My Monkey,  I can't belive a year has gone by without you.  I think about you every minute of every day.  I love you every minute of every day.

I feel I was so fortunate to have been a part of this young girl's life.  Although she left us way too early, as she was just 12, she seemed to have the wisdom of a person who had lived for several decades.  Wise people teach and inspire others through their actions in life.  That is what Nevaeh did...  she taught us grace, she taught us courage, and she taught us all to keep moving forward with determination and a bit of humbling humor.  She will be missed and remembered by so many, many people whose lives she touched.  She will be a source of strength for every person who was lucky to know her.

Nevaeh was an amazing person to go to in a time of need. She was always enthusiastic about everything that was happening. Nev is not only my best friend but my inspiration. The first day Nevaeh came to olive I tried and become her friend because I could only imagine the hardness of changing schools. I got to have the honor of saying that I was her best friend and first friend. You will be missed Nevaeh. But not only that, your legacy will live on. My prayers are with you.

Nevaeh wasn't any ordinary kid. She had a special quality where she was always there when you needed to talk. Wether it was complaints about how I disliked my teacher or talking about how I am so excited about an upcoming event, Nevaeh always gave  me an honest answer. I love her and I miss her so much, but I hope she's having an awesome time where ever she is now.

Nevaeh was a beautifl amd rare being who touched so many lives in a beautiful way. Especially her classmates. We were very sorry to hear of her passing.

I've had the honor of knowing Nevaeh for the past few years. My son, Cayden and her were close friends while we lived in Novato. After we moved to Petaluma, Nevaeh went to Cal Skate with us and helped Cayden to adjust to his new life in Petaluma. I was able to be part of Nevaeh and Caydens class; go on field trips, volunteer for class. This is when I really got to know what an incredible angel she was. I was always happy whenever I got to see Nev, give her a hug, see her smile and hear her sweet voice. She would text me throughout the last couple years just to see how life in Petaluma was, or how the new baby was. She was such a beautiful light with so much joy. She never spoke negatively and was always loved by so many. She left Cayden and I memories that we will cherish forever and never forget. We love you Nevaeh

Nevaeh was a very sweet child, she taught me a big lesson of courage and strength . I feel very blessed that I got to meet her. May God give you the strength to bear this irreparable loss.

Nevaeh will always hold such a special place in my heart.  She was only 11, but made it easier for her math teacher, still bald from my recent chemo treatments, to come back for a new school year. It was incredible to have someone so young who understood what I had just been through, and she gave me such perspective to know she was still on her journey. She gave me a picture from her Make-A-Wish trip with the dolphin, and I keep it up as a reminder of a strong and wise young lady who always brought a smile to my face, and a lift to my heart.

Nevaeh was one of my best friends. I was inspired by her and how strong she was. She had something about her that was so easy to be around and to talk to. I love her and I will miss her so much

When we first met Nevaeh, she was only in 4th grade at Olive. She was always such a joy to have around. So friendly, sweet, and smiling all the time. Our girls thoroughly enjoyed growing up with her over the last many years during camps. They would get so excited when they'd find out Nevaeh was coming that week. She was a tough girl with a soft heart and beautiful soul. We will miss her very much. We hope you find some comfort in knowing how much she was loved by everyone who met her. Nevaeh was Ava's buddy in kindergarten and a bond was created that was never broken.  So sweet, loving and gracious.  A smart, funny and curious girl who made friends with everyone she met, no matter what age.

I loved having Nevaeh as a student and she will forever be a Lunde-O on the wall of fame in my class. She enthusiastically wanted to learn about life using every modality possible to live life to the fullest, however little did she know that she was teaching us how to value every moment that we have, even while doing the mundane like homework. Thank you Nevaeh for the sparkle in your eyes, the sincerity of your smiles, and for our year together, an eye for fashionable hats.

There are no words of comfort that can fill the void in your heart. Nevaeh was a shining light that touched everyone around her. She inspired us with her courage. Cancer may have defeated her body, but never her soul.

Carel and Jim, I am so sorry for your loss. Nevaeh was a wonderful person who had a big heart full of love. She was very positive even in bad times. Nev always told me to never think negative always think positive. I'm so glad I got to be her friend for two years that felt like forever. We did a lot of special things together that I will never forget. Nevaeh was the toughest girl I ever met. I had the pleasure of knowing Nevaeh for a few short years while working with Carel and can't say enough about how wonderful of a child she was. Nevaeh always knew how to brighten up a room and I can't express how much we are all going to miss her. Although her life ended prematurely, she has touched the hearts of many and her memory will be alive forever. There is too much to say about this sweet young girl who was battling cancer with a good attitude and smile on her face. It was always a treat to have her around the office. We will miss her jokes, laughter, and funny notes on our office whiteboard. Rest in peace Nevaeh. We love you.

The world has lost one of its treasures. Nevaeh was the kind of kid who made me want to have children. She was kind, funny, and interested in the world... an inspiration to other children and also to adults. I hope others will be inspired to live up to their fullest potential, since Nevaeh was not given that opportunity. Thankfully, her life was full of joyful experiences, to out-weight the challenges. She will be sorely missed by those she left behind.

I thought Nev was a pretty neat kid the first I met you guys.  She had a great sense of humor and lived her life with gusto.  I am sorry to see her light gone and feel so sad for her family.  She lives on in our memories of her.  If you ever need anything, just call.

Nevaeh will be greatly missed by all of us. She was such a sweet and wonderful girl! Her life ended shorter than expected but she is in a very peaceful place right now. We will never forget her.

I imagine Nevaeh being greeted at heaven's gate by God. He takes her in his arms and rejoices that she is home with Him. She is setting on his lap and He asks her, “I gave you one life to live Nevaeh, what have you done with it?” His next response is, “Good job, my child!”

I only met Nevaeh a couple of times in our office but the joy that radiated from her was heartwarming. I know that she was the light of her Uncle Tom's eye and getting to know her through him was a joy. I know we grieve her loss but I also know that heaven is a brighter place with her there.

God Bless you both for taking care of one of God's precious angels. Though I never met Nevaeh, I knew her through Tom, and was so looking forward to meeting her. Her strength and courage - was contagious, especially for me. 

She is now healed, and comfort can be found in knowing that.

Nevaeh was a generous and loving spirit!  I always loved to see her smile and would give her a big hug when we saw her at school. She was an Angel!  My daughter Alexa, was fortunate to have been friends with her for two years and loved spending time with her at school.  We feel very grateful and blessed to have had her light in our lives . . she has touched our hearts forever!

Nevaeh was such a beam of light. Demetrius would speak fondly of her. I was especially touched by how she went out of her way at a recent Sinaloa event to tell me how much it meant to her that I used to come to her class to teach yoga. It takes a rare and special person to do that and it truly warmed my heart. May her light shine on!
