Betty McGinnis, 92, of Orland Park, passed away peacefully on December 17. Betty was born in Topeka, Kansas and moved to Illinois as an adult. A life-long learner, Betty obtained a degree in Special Education, and taught childrens' classes for many years.
After retirement Betty lived life to the fullest, enjoying music, theater, reading, traveling and spirited converations with friends and family.
Betty was predeceased by her sister Linda, brother Richard, and son Michael.
Memorial services will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a cause you feel she would have liked.
